Off-Market Method is a brand of Cordis Group LLC (“we”). offmarketmethod.com is operated by Cordis Group LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. Here’s what we collect and what we do with it.
Your email when you ask for something free: the Map, the working documents, the Gap Table, or a letter. If you buy something: name, email, and payment details (handled by Stripe; we never see your card number). If you order a printed book: your shipping address and a phone number, because the carrier requires one. If you later complete a paid assessment: the business information you choose to provide.
Send you what you asked for. Send the email series you signed up for (leave anytime, one click, bottom of every email). Deliver and support products you buy. That’s it.
Sell your information. Share your business details with buyers, brokers, or anyone else. Contact you “about selling your business.”
beehiiv (email), Stripe (payments), Netlify (site hosting, and a copy of anything you submit through a form on this site, so nothing you send us gets lost), Lulu (printing and shipping, for printed-book orders only), Airtable (our record of owners who take the Map, buy, or ask us for something, so we can follow up properly), Plausible (traffic analytics). Each under their own security terms.
We count visits with Plausible, which sets no cookies and builds no personal profile. When we run ads, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag measure which ads lead to visits, sign-ups and purchases here. They use their own cookies. When you buy, we also tell Meta about the purchase directly, with your email and phone scrambled (hashed) so they can match it to an ad without reading it. They never receive your Map answers, your revenue range, or anything about your business. You can turn this off in your Meta ad settings and LinkedIn ad settings. When you pay, Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.
Your email stays on our list while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we never email you again. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
It is treated as confidential, used only to produce your deliverables, and never used in public materials. The composites in our marketing blend real numbers from several deals and never identify a client. Your Map result (your stage and the revenue range you pick) is saved with your email so we can send the right follow-up. Your yes-or-no answers and any number you type into the calculators stay in your browser; we don’t receive them.
Unsubscribe anytime. Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it: hello@offmarketmethod.com.
If you live in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, you can also ask us to correct what we hold, and you will not be treated differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. We answer every request within the time your state’s law sets.
This site and our products are for business owners and their advisors. They are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
